A About the practice

Careful records, explained in plain language

Ledgerstone Advisory is a small chartered accountancy and tax practice in Sample City. We work with owner-managed businesses, freelancers, startups and households who want their records in order and their obligations understood.

Our approach is unhurried and documented. We agree what we will do before we start, show you drafts before anything is filed, and explain the figures in terms you can act on. When a question falls outside our scope, we say so.

E Before you meet us

A preparation checklist

Tick off what you have gathered. It helps make a first conversation useful, but you do not need everything to request one.

F Why Ledgerstone

A working relationship that balances

Good accounts depend on both sides. Here is what you can expect from us, and what we will ask of you in return.

What you can expect

  1. A named partner on your file

One person who knows your records and answers your questions.

  2. Scope and fees in writing first

An engagement letter before any work begins, so nothing is assumed.

  3. Drafts before anything is filed

You see computations and statements, and nothing goes out without approval.

  4. Explanations you can use

What a figure means, why it changed and what you might do about it.

What we will ask of you

  1. Records in one place

A shared folder or a box, sorted by month, sent on an agreed date.

  2. Answers to our queries

A short, specific list each period, so the work keeps moving.

  3. Early notice of changes

New income, staff, property or a change of structure, as soon as you know.

  4. Your sign-off

Final approval of every return and statement before it is filed.

44Balanced: clear responsibilities on both sides.

J FAQs

Questions before you engage us

Answers are general information about how this demo practice works, not professional advice on your situation.

Ask something else
Which services do you cover?

Bookkeeping and monthly accounts, year-end accounts, income tax returns, GST registration and returns, budgets and cash-flow forecasts, and business set-up guidance. See the service ledger. If something falls outside that scope, such as legal advice, we will say so and suggest the kind of specialist to approach.

How does an engagement start?

Send a consultation request. We reply to suggest a time for a first conversation, then send a written engagement letter setting out the scope, fees and responsibilities. Work begins only after you approve it. See the engagement process.

What should I bring to the first meeting?

Copies of recent bank statements, any previous returns or accounts, and a short list of questions are a good start. The preparation checklist lists more. You do not need everything to request a meeting.

Can we meet in person or by video?

Either. Choose your preference in the request form. Meetings at the office are held during the sample office hours listed in the contact section; video calls are arranged at a time agreed by email or phone.

How are your fees worked out?

Fees depend on the scope of the work and the state of the records, so they are quoted in the engagement letter before any work starts. This demo shows no fee figures because no real fee schedule has been supplied.

Can you guarantee I will pay less tax?

No. No honest accountant can guarantee a tax outcome. We prepare accurate returns, explain the options the rules allow for your situation, and leave the final decisions to you.

Can I send my financial documents through this website?

No, please do not. The request form is only for your name, a contact method and a short note. Documents are shared later through a secure method agreed with your partner. On this demo, the form sends nothing at all.
