A school that knows every child by name

Maplecrest is a co-educational day school for children from nursery to Grade 10. We combine a structured curriculum with the warmth of a community where teachers, pupils and families work together.

Our approach is simple: build strong foundations, make learning active and meaningful, and give children room to try new things, whether that is a science project, a stage performance or a first match on the field.

  • Clear foundations Age-appropriate learning goals for every stage and subject.
  • Attention to progress Teachers track how each child is doing and adjust support.
  • Values in daily life Responsibility, kindness and respect built into routines.
  • Families as partners Meetings, reports and notices keep parents involved.

One campus, four stages of growing up

Each stage has its own learning goals, routines and spaces, so moving up feels like a natural next step rather than a fresh start. Sample programme outline

Teachers who guide, not just instruct

Good teaching starts with knowing the learner. Our teachers plan lessons that ask children to do, discuss and reflect, not only listen.

  1. i.

    Know the learner

Teachers observe how each child learns best and plan support accordingly.

  2. ii.

    Learn by doing

Experiments, projects and discussions turn ideas into understanding.

  3. iii.

    Practise and reflect

Regular practice and feedback help pupils see how they are improving.

  4. iv.

    Report clearly

Parents receive clear updates on progress and next steps.
